Commanders' Brown likely out for season with 'internal injury'

Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown suffered a potential season-ending "internal injury" against the Tennessee Titans, head coach Dan Quinn said Wednesday, according to Sam Fortier of The Washington Post.

The ailment will likely sideline him for the rest of the 2024 campaign, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. It was initially deemed a rib injury, Garafolo adds.

"During the game, between him and the medical staff, they did a really good job to address what was a serious injury. Fortunately, he's going to be okay," Quinn told reporters.

Brown ranks third on the Commanders in targets (56), receptions (35), and receiving yards (453) and has played in 63% of Washington's offensive snaps. He signed a one-year deal with the franchise in August.

Luke McCaffrey, Dyami Brown, and Olamide Zaccheaus are the other wide receivers on the depth chart outside Terry McLaurin.
