Dolphins, Beckham part ways
The Miami Dolphins have waived veteran receiver Odell Beckham Jr., the team announced Friday.
It was a mutual agreement between the franchise and wideout to part ways, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Beckham is hoping for more opportunities elsewhere. He'll go through waivers and be free to sign with any team if he goes unclaimed by Monday.
Any team that claims Beckham would be responsible for the $200,000 he's owed for the rest of the season, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
The 32-year-old receiver started the season on the physically unable to play list but has been a non-factor since being activated. He's caught only nine passes for 55 yards and zero touchdowns.
A former three-time Pro Bowler, Beckham has totaled 7,987 receiving yards and 59 touchdowns over his career. However, he hasn't had a season with over 1,000 receiving yards since 2019.
