Raiders' Crosby to miss MNF vs. Falcons due to ankle injury
Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby will miss Monday's game against the Atlanta Falcons due to an ankle injury.
Crosby didn't participate in practice this week and was ruled out in the Raiders' final injury report, according to ESPN's Paul Gutierrez.
The three-time Pro Bowler has been one of the bright spots for Las Vegas this season. He leads the team with 17 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks in 12 games.
The 27-year-old star also missed a game against the Cleveland Browns in September due to an ankle ailment.
While Crosby will be sidelined on Monday, it remains unclear who will start at quarterback for the Raiders. Aidan O'Connell was listed as questionable for the matchup after not practicing all week while battling a knee injury.
O'Connell was carted off the field with an air cast over his left leg in last week's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The second-year passer reportedly sustained a bone bruise, which led to optimism that he could be available for Monday Night Football.
If O'Connell is unable to play, Desmond Ridder is expected to get the start in his place against the Falcons.
