Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon is active for Saturday's divisional-round game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Mixon was listed as questionable with an ankle injury. He didn't practice Thursday after being a limited participant in Wednesday's session. Mixon dealt with an ankle ailment earlier in the season that forced him to miss three games.
The 28-year-old played in Houston's wild-card round victory over the Los Angeles Chargers, racking up 25 carries for 106 yards and a touchdown.
Mixon led the Texans in attempts (245), rushing yards (1,016), and total touchdowns (12) this campaign. He earned his second-career Pro Bowl selection in 2024 after being acquired from the Cincinnati Bengals in March.
