Report: Texans signing Robinson to 1-year deal worth up to $14.5M

The Houston Texans are signing left tackle Cam Robinson, a source told Fox Sports' Jordan Schultz.

It's a one-year contract worth up to $14.5 million, according to The Athletic's Dianna Russini.

Robinson started all 17 games at left tackle in 2024 between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings. The 29-year-old spent the first eight seasons of his career with Jacksonville before being sent to Minnesota ahead of the trade deadline last year.

He was considered one of the top offensive linemen on the free-agent market this offseason. Robinson has 101 career starts.

The Texans recently traded five-time Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil to the Washington Commanders amid a significant shake-up of their offensive line this winter. Houston also traded Kenyon Green and released Shaq Mason while adding Laken Tomlinson and Ed Ingram.

The Texans gave up the fourth-most sacks (54) last season and ranked in the bottom half of the league in that category the year prior.
