Los Angeles Rams offensive tackle Alaric Jackson is dealing with blood clots, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

While there is a belief he'll play this season, there are questions about his status, Rapoport adds. The Rams added depth to their offensive tackle room by signing veteran D.J. Humphries on Thursday.

Jackson dealt with blood clots during the 2022 campaign that ultimately landed him on season-ending injured reserve after eight games. He signed a three-year, $57-million extension this offseason that locks him up through the 2027 campaign.

The 26-year-old has been the Rams' primary starting left tackle over the last two campaigns. He allowed three sacks and 25 pressures in 583 pass-blocking snaps in 2024, according to PFF.
