The Tennessee Titans waived wide receiver Treylon Burks, the team announced Monday.

Burks reportedly suffered a broken collarbone last week and was expected to miss the start of the season.

The Titans selected Burks 18th overall in the 2022 draft after acquiring that pick when they traded star wide receiver A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Burks has struggled to stay healthy in the NFL, suiting up for only 25 games across three seasons. The 25-year-old only played in five contests last year after undergoing ACL surgery in December.

"He's going to be one of our best targets this year," first overall pick Cam Ward said of Burks last week. "Not a lot of guys at his size can move like him ... I'm excited. Just hoping he stays healthy."

Calvin Ridley, Tyler Lockett, Van Jefferson, and rookie Elic Ayomanor are other wideouts on the Titans' depth chart.

Burks finishes his tenure in Tennessee with 53 catches for 699 receiving yards and one touchdown.
