The Minnesota Vikings are exploring veteran wide receivers in the trade market, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
No deal is imminent, but the team is pushing hard to acquire someone before the season begins, Pelissero adds.
Jordan Addison, the projected No. 2 wideout on the depth chart, will miss the first three games of the season due to a suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy.
The Vikings are also dealing with multiple injuries at the position. Jalen Nailor is week-to-week with a hand ailment, and Justin Jefferson returned to practice Tuesday for the first time in almost a month due to a hamstring injury.
Lucky Jackson, Tai Felton, and Jeshaun Jones are other wide receivers on the roster. None of the three players have recorded a reception in the NFL.
Minnesota will kick off its 2025 campaign on Sept. 8 against the Chicago Bears.
