Dolphins' Waller placed on IR with pectoral injury

The Miami Dolphins placed tight end Darren Waller on injured reserve Wednesday due to a pectoral injury.

Waller exited the Dolphins' 31-6 loss to the Cleveland Browns last weekend in the second quarter and did not return. He had zero targets and catches prior to his exit.

Miami signed Greg Dulcich from the practice squad to the active roster to replace Waller while he's sidelined.

Waller, 33, missed the first three games of the season and most of training camp with a hip injury. He's been a bright spot for the Dolphins, hauling in 10 receptions for 117 yards and four touchdowns.

He's also the latest player to join a large contingent of Dolphins starters on injured reserve. Tyreek Hill, Austin Jackson, and Jason Sanders are some of the most notable names.
