NFL Week 8 prop party: Back the big guys on National Tight Ends Day
While last week was our first player prop miss in quite some time, we've cashed at least a couple of anytime touchdown scorers most weeks. Let's keep the good vibes going as we celebrate National Tight Ends Day by backing three tight ends to have monster outings Sunday.

π Bet: Over 39.5 rushing yards
Jaxson Dart looks like a potential franchise quarterback, mostly because of his rushing ability. He's run for over 50 yards in three of his four starts, including a career-high 58 against the Eagles two weeks ago. Philadelphia's defense is vulnerable, and it's struggled to pressure opposing quarterbacks. The Giants already draw up designed runs for Dart but should call even more against their divisional rival.
π Bet: Under 194.5 passing yards
I'm not sure if Tua Tagovailoa's press conferences or on-field performances have been more embarrassing. He's failed to reach 195 passing yards in more than half his games and now faces the Falcons' top-ranked passing defense, which allows only 141 yards per contest to opposing quarterbacks. Tagovailoa could be benched if his abysmal performance continues, as he's thrown six interceptions in the last two weeks. I'm not sure how much longer the Dolphins will tolerate his incompetence.
π Bet: Over 5.5 receptions
Jake Ferguson has become one of Dak Prescott's favorite weapons, as he leads the Cowboys in targets and receptions. Ferguson has averaged 7.3 catches per game and managed at least six in five of his last six outings. While the Broncos have a sturdy defense, Dallas' league-best offense primarily attacks through its passing game. CeeDee Lamb, who returned from injury last week, will command most of the defensive attention.
π Bet: Over 59.5 receiving yards
Let's keep hammering the position for National Tight Ends Day. Tyler Warren has put up at least 60 receiving yards in three of the last four weeks. Daniel Jones has found a reliable safety blanket in Warren and keeps delivering passes to the athletic rookie, who leads Indianapolis in receiving yards and sits second in targets.
π Bet: Over 42.5 receiving yards
Hopefully quarterbacks will reward tight ends this weekend because this is our third such prop. Dalton Kincaid has recorded more than 43 receiving yards in three of his five games played, including his latest outing in which he caught six balls for 108 yards. He missed the Bills' most recent contest with an injury but is expected to return against the Panthers. Despite the absence, the third-year pro leads the team in receiving yards and touchdowns.

π Bet: Anytime TD (+100)
Has the Jets' offense been a complete mess? Absolutely. But so has the Bengals' defense, which leads the league in missed tackles by a wide margin with 81 and ranks 29th in EPA/rush. Breece Hall, who is New York's best offensive weapon with Garrett Wilson sidelined, has a chance for a big game in Week 8.
π Bet: Anytime TD (+110)
This one is simple: If you get Josh Allen at plus odds, it's an automatic bet. Buffalo's offense has been stagnant in recent games, but the team is coming off its bye week. When the unit has struggled in past years, the Bills have included more quarterback runs in their game plan. Allen is already second in red-zone carries among QBs this season.
π Bet: Anytime TD (+140)
Courtland Sutton is undoubtedly Bo Nix's go-to pass-catcher, leading the team in targets (50), receptions (23), receiving yards (469), and receiving touchdowns (three). The veteran has a great matchup ahead versus a Cowboys defense that's allowed the most scores and the third-most receiving yards to opposing wideouts.
π Bet: Anytime TD (+160)
DeVonta Smith is quietly putting up elite numbers this season, and he'll be Jalen Hurts' top target Sunday with A.J. Brown ruled out. The former Heisman winner has the third-most receiving yards in the NFL over the past three weeks and the ninth-most on the season. Smith found the end zone last week and now takes on a Giants defense that's surrendered more targets and receiving yards to opposing wideouts than any other team.
π Bet: Anytime TD (+450)
Our long shot of the week goes to a rookie who's set to become a big part of the Titans' offense after Tyler Lockett's release. Chimere Dike ran a route on two-thirds of Cam Ward's dropbacks last week and was targeted on 15% of those plays. The 23-year-old finished the game with four receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown. He has a promising Week 8 matchup against the Colts, who have allowed the second-most targets and receiving yards to opposing wideouts.
