Fantasy: Top waiver-wire pickups for your playoff push
Finding studs on waivers is often the key to winning a fantasy championship. Check back every week to learn who is trending up.
Roster percentages are based on Sleeper leagues. Free-Agent Budget (FAB) amounts are based on a $100 salary cap. Only players rostered in less than 50% of leagues are considered.
Quarterbacks
Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars
| Next up | Rostered | FAB |
|---|---|---|
| vs. Colts | 48% | $3 |

Lawrence has cleared 20 fantasy points in back-to-back games, throwing for a combined five touchdowns and surpassing 225 passing yards in both. It's unlikely he'll finish as one of the truly elite players in Week 14, but he's shown enough recently to warrant a pickup if you're looking for a temporary starter.
Lawrence's matchup with the Colts isn't great, however, so keep your FAB bids and expectations relatively modest. Indianapolis has recorded 12 interceptions and surrendered just 16 touchdown passes this season. Both statistics rank among the 10 best in the league.
Other QBs to pick up:
- Bryce Young, Panthers (22%): Young was excellent in the Panthers' upset win over the Rams. However, he has a bye in Week 14, and his Week 15 matchup with the Saints is only adequate. I'd only pick up Young this week if you have the bench space to eat his bye and are banking on potential upside for the playoffs.
Tyler Shough, Saints (11%): Shough quietly finished with 18.36 fantasy points against the Dolphins, and he has a solid matchup against the Buccaneers up next. Still, Shough should only be considered in the deepest of leagues.
Running backs
Blake Corum, Rams
| Next up | Rostered | FAB |
|---|---|---|
| at Cardinals | 23% | $11 |

Corum had a minor breakout game against the Panthers on Sunday. He rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on seven carries for 14.1 fantasy points. The Michigan product is still behind Kyren Williams on the depth chart, but Corum is one of the best handcuffs you can roster heading into the postseason.
He hasn't hit 40% of the team's offensive snaps in a game yet this season, but he's recorded a snap share of at least 31% in the last four weeks, and he's recorded 60 carries in his last six games. Corum hasn't been a big factor in the passing game, which does limit his upside a bit, but he's worth rostering. That's especially true if Williams is already on your team.
Zonovan Knight, Cardinals
| Next up | Rostered | FAB |
|---|---|---|
| vs. Rams | 41% | $6 |

The eventual return of Trey Benson (and Emari Demercado to a lesser extent) caps Knight's upside, but he's been a solid producer over the last few weeks. The 24-year-old has been involved both as a runner and a receiver, and he's scored a touchdown in each of his last three games.
A matchup with the Rams looks subpar on paper, but Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard is fresh off a monster outing against Los Angeles. Hubbard scored 19.4 half-PPR points and laid the blueprint for Knight to have a solid outing. It could wind up being his last game as Arizona's feature back, so expect plenty of effort.
Other RBs to pick up:
- Chuba Hubbard, Panthers (50%): Speaking of which - Hubbard has the same bye as Young in Week 14, but he could be a sneaky addition ahead of playoffs. He played over 50% of Carolina's offensive snaps for the first time since Week 8 against the Rams, and he finished with 124 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 19 touches. That should boost his stock over the final few weeks.
Bhayshul Tuten, Jaguars (40%): Tuten is definitely more of a handcuff option at this point in the season, but he's one of the better handcuffs available. He has scored three times in his last five games and has seen at least seven touches in all but one of those contests.
Wide receivers
Isaac TeSlaa, Lions
| Next up | Rostered | FAB |
|---|---|---|
| vs. Cowboys | 5% | $8 |

Jameson Williams (rostered in 90% of leagues) was the biggest beneficiary of Amon-Ra St. Brown's early Thanksgiving exit, but TeSlaa also saw more work because of it. The 23-year-old rookie played 92% of Detroit's offensive snaps despite not playing more than 46% in any other game this year, and he caught a touchdown on one of his few targets.
St. Brown is expected to miss a few weeks with an ankle injury, which opens the door for TeSlaa to have a bigger role against the Cowboys. Dallas has given up the most receiving touchdowns and the third-most receiving yards to wide receivers this season, and Williams is likely the only wideout who will see more snaps than TeSlaa in that game.
Adonai Mitchell, Jets
| Next up | Rostered | FAB |
|---|---|---|
| vs. Dolphins | 7% | $7 |

Mitchell exploded for 102 yards and a touchdown on eight receptions Sunday, marking one-third of his 306 yards this season. The trade acquisition has played 85% or more of the Jets' offensive snaps the last two weeks, and he's seen a total of 25 targets over the last three.
New York's Week 14 game against Miami isn't ideal for Mitchell because of how well the Dolphins have kept wideouts in check this season. However, he could still be a flex play given his recent volume. Plus, Mitchell's other remaining matchups this season are appealing.
Other WRs to pick up:
- Devaughn Vele, Saints (3%): Vele was a big part of the Saints' passing attack the last two weeks. He saw 15 targets and hauled in 11 of them for 130 yards and a touchdown. He's a low-cost, high-upside waiver target.
Keon Coleman, Bills (37%): The Bills don't focus their passing offense through one specific player, which means Coleman could have some big games - but also some duds - over the final weeks. However, the 22-year-old scored in his return to Buffalo's lineup despite a low volume of pass attempts. He'll be a flex option in deeper leagues if he maintains a niche in the red zone.
Tight ends
Brenton Strange, Jaguars
| Next up | Rostered | FAB |
|---|---|---|
| vs. Colts | 47% | $6 |

Strange has caught eight of nine targets for 138 yards and a touchdown in two games since returning from injury. He also scored his first touchdown of the season Sunday against the Titans. He should be rostered and started in most leagues moving forward.
While his quarterback's matchup isn't great this week, Strange is set up well against the Colts. They've given up the second-most yardage to tight ends (865) after the Bengals (1,121). And only three teams have given up more receptions to the position than Indianapolis (79).
Other TEs to pick up:
- Darren Waller, Dolphins (37%): The veteran tight end led the Dolphins with 47 receiving yards on two receptions Sunday. The Jets, Miami's Week 14 opponent, have given up seven touchdowns to tight ends this season. That bodes well for Waller, who has scored in three of five appearances this campaign.
Theo Johnson, Giants (44%): Johnson had a down game against the Patriots, but he saw a healthy eight targets. If you're looking for upside at the position and can handle his Week 14 bye, consider adding him.
