Report: Eagles sign Jordan Davis to 3-year, $78M extension

The Philadelphia Eagles are signing defensive tackle Jordan Davis to a three-year, $78-million contract extension, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The deal includes $65 million guaranteed and makes Davis the highest-paid nose tackle in NFL history, adds Schefter.

Davis was set to earn $12.9 million next season after Philadelphia picked up the fifth-year option on his rookie contract, per Over the Cap. With the extension, the 26-year-old will earn an average annual salary of $26 million.

Drafted 13th overall by the Eagles in 2022, the 6-foot-6, 336-pound Davis has provided an imposing presence in the middle of the Eagles' defensive line.

Davis posted career highs across the board in 2025, including nine tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks. The versatile big man also sealed Philadelphia's 33-26 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sept. 21 by blocking a game-winning field-goal attempt and returning the loose ball.

Davis' contract secures one of the Eagles' top players in the trenches. Teammates Jalen Carter and Moro Ojomo are also eligible for extensions this offseason. However, Philadelphia is in the market to find edge rushers, with Jaelan Phillips, Brandon Graham, and Azeez Ojulari set to become unrestricted free agents.
