49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick turns to Twitter for motivation

The last time San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick took to Twitter for motivation after a loss, the 49ers reeled off a five-game winning streak. After a brief hiatus, he's back on Twitter following the team's 10-9 loss to Carolina.

“It’s something I do for me,” Kaepernick said following the team's 27-7 loss to the Colts. “It helps me.”

Kaepernick "favorited' four tweets following the Panther game, all negative, including tweets that cal him an "overrated clown," and suggest the team should have kept Alex Smith.

The 49ers will take on the Saints on Sunday as three-point underdogs.
