The Green Bay Packers signed quarterback Tyrod Taylor, the team announced Monday.
The 36-year-old Taylor will serve as a veteran option behind Jordan Love, who missed two starts each in his 2024 and 2025 campaigns. Taylor appears to be the Packers' replacement for Malik Willis, who signed with the Miami Dolphins this offseason.
Taylor spent the past two seasons with the New York Jets. He appeared in six games and made four starts in 2025, completing 59.7% of his passes for 779 yards, five touchdowns, and five interceptions.
Green Bay's quarterback depth chart also includes Kyle McCord and Kyron Drones. The Packers released Desmond Ridder on Monday.
Taylor, a Virginia Tech product, has passed for 13,033 yards and 73 touchdowns over 15 NFL seasons with seven different clubs.
