Nike and Hasbro have teamed up to bring Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson's "Megatron" persona to life - or, at least to action figure form.
Nike, a sponsor of Johnson, and Hasbro, who created the Transformers series, combined to produce the CJ81 Megatron Trainer Max shoe - which comes with a matching purple action figure (and miniature football).

The "Decepticon," along with two other pieces of footwear, will be selling as a limited-edition item (just in time for Christmas), as Nike plans to release only 81 "Megatron's."
"They are coming out with a little package or something like that," Johnson told reporters. "It's going to be cool. It's a cool little deal. I think kids will like it. I think everybody will like it. It's cool shoes, plus you get a little toy."
