Philadelphia Eagles running back Will Shipley could miss multiple weeks after partially tearing his plantar fascia during Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Shipley, 24, left the matchup in the second quarter shortly after scoring his first career touchdown to tie the game.
Shipley's injury is the latest blow to Philadelphia's depleted running back room. Three-time Pro Bowler Saquon Barkley didn't play Sunday after injuring his right hamstring in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams, and backup Tank Bigsby is on injured reserve after reportedly undergoing core muscle surgery.
The absences left Dameon Pierce as the Eagles' primary running back during the second half versus Jacksonville. However, Philadelphia is optimistic that Barkley will return soon, according to The Ringer's Tom Pelissero.
The Eagles dropped to 2-3 with Sunday's loss. They'll host the Carolina Panthers in Week 6.
