Hicks agreed to terms with the Saints on Thursday, Adam Caplan of The Sideline View reports.
The Saints' third-round pick in the 2012 NFL draft agreed to a four-year contract, reportedly worth about $2.7 million. Hicks is the first signed draft pick for the Saints. He figures to serve as defensive line depth in his rookie season.
