Ravens K Tucker rejects 'Legatron' nickname
After he kicked six field goals, including a game-winning 61-yarder, against the Detroit Lions Monday night, Justin Tucker was the recipient of much praise from Baltimore Ravens fans.
Many fans dubbed Tucker "Legatron," an obvious play on Lions receiver Calvin Johnson's famous "Megatron" moniker.
It turns out Tucker isn't necessarily appreciative of the new nickname.
Appreciate all the kind words and the idea of a nickname, but 'Legatron' has alrdy been earned by another quality PK, Greg Z..Open to ideas!

Tucker's tweet shows how much respect exists among the "brotherhood" of NFL kickers. St. Louis Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein isn't exactly hurting for nicknames -- in addition to "Legatron," he's also known as "Greg the Leg" -- but Tucker knows it isn't cool to bite his style.
Since Tucker's comments, a few creative Ravens fans proposed new nicknames. "Optimus Nine" (since Tucker wears number nine) seems to be gaining some traction.
One nickname that isn't catching on is Donovan McNabb's unintentional suggestion: "Jason Tucker."
