Former 49ers long snapper Brian Jennings: 'Cam Newton owes me $25K'

Former San Francisco 49ers long snapper Brian Jennings is holding a grudge with Cam Newton for his lackadaisical approach to the 2012 Pro Bowl. 

"Cam Newton owes me $25,000, a lot of people don't know that," Jennings said on the Murph and Mac Show on KNBR.

Jennings believes Newton was responsible for the NFC's loss in the game, which awards each player of the winning conference a $25,000 winner's share.

"We have Drew Brees with his playbook all week, studying... We have Cam Newton with his head phones on all week goofing off," Jennings exclaimed. "He went in there and stank it up. He never looked at his playbook and he's chucking the ball all over the place. He can't hit the open guy."

Newton finished the game 9-of-27 for 186 yards and was intercepted three times in the NFC's 59-41 loss to the AFC.
