Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno suffers chest injury against Patriots
The Denver Broncos will take the next couple of days to enjoy their victory over the New England Patriots before they start looking ahead to the Super Bowl.
But one thing they will be immediately concerned with is the health of running back Knowshon Moreno.
Denver's best rusher suffered a chest injury late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Patriots. He was listed as questionable to return, but ended up staying on the sidelines for the last handful of plays as Montee Ball finished out the game.
Moreno finished with 14 carries for 59 rushing yards and two catches for 22 receiving yards. The injury didn't appear to be too serious, as he was able to stay on the sideline instead of having to go back to the locker room to get it checked out.
With two weeks off before the Super Bowl, Moreno should have enough time to let it heal before the big game if it's not deemed to be too serious of an injury.
