Analysis:

Had Bowman only torn his ACL, he would likely have undergone surgery shortly after suffering the initial injury. Instead, he'll have to wait for his torn MCL to heal, and only after that happens can he undergo surgery. The good news for Bowman is that no PCL tear was reported, so he's still hoping to be ready for Week 1 in 2014.
