Report: Dungy received 'confrontational' call from Dolphins' Philbin following Martin interview
In an interview with NBC Sports' Tony Dungy that aired Wednesday, Jonathan Martin said he never spoke with Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin about the bullying he endured from teammates because it wasn't something he felt comfortable sharing.
According to Chris Morensen of ESPN, Philbin took offense to the way he was portrayed by Dungy, a former NFL coach, in regards to the bullying scandal and made his feelings known in a phone call.

According to a separate report by Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, Dungy was part of a committee that also included former Dolphins players Dan Marino and Jason Taylor whose aim was to address Miami's locker room problems at the height of the bullying scandal.
However, Salguero reports that the committee, which was formed by owner Stephen Ross, "has no agenda," "has never met," and "may not ever meet." Members reportedly have yet to receive a phone call with information on the committee, including a date for its first meeting.
Salguero also reports that upon announcing the formation of the committee, Ross also announced that he planned to meet with Martin, but the NFL put a stop to it for fear it would interfere with its investigation.
