Broncos' Decker on free agency: 'I would love to come back'
After catching passes from the arm of Peyton Manning for the last two seasons, it's no surprise that impending free-agent wide receiver Eric Decker would want to remain in Denver.
"I would love to come back. I don't know my future either," Decker told 9 News in Denver.
Decker, who's spent his entire four-year career in the Mile-High City, made 87 receptions for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns last season, as part of a Broncos team that set the record as the highest scoring team in NFL history.
Reports last week stated that Denver is likely to let the 26-year-old test free agency and fear they may not have the money to retain him.
Broncos want Decker to take his best offer & come back to them. No guarantee it happens. Broncos have so many other big $$ contracts looming
