Ravens, Suggs agree to four-year contract extension
The Baltimore Ravens and linebacker Terrell Suggs agreed to a four-year contract extension Monday.
The 31-year-old has spent his entire career in Baltimore, after being selected 10th overall in the 2003 draft.
With his current six-year, $62.5 million deal set to expire at the end of next season, Suggs' new deal not only allows him the opportunity to retire with the Ravens, but also provides the team with some much needed cap flexibility.
Importantly, Suggs' cap number for 2014 goes from $12.4 million to $7.8. #Ravens need the room.
