Former Ohio State RB Carlos Hyde injures hamstring at combine

by Michael Amato

Running back Carlos Hyde was hoping to impress with his 40 time at the NFL combine, but he posted a disappointing 4.66 mark.

However, Hyde's poor time was the result of a hamstring injury that forced him to pull up during the run.

Hyde still has a chance to run the 40 again at Ohio State's pro day as he hopes to be the first running back off the board in May's draft.

Hyde ran for over 1,500 yards and scored 18 touchdowns for the Buckeyes in 2013.
