Clowney skips on-field drills with hip flexor after unofficial 4.47 in first 40-yard dash
Jadeveon Clowney's impressive day at the combine will be cut a little short, as the defensive end will skip on-field drills due to a hip flexor.
The former South Carolina Gamecock has been the talk of the combine Monday after posting a blazing unofficial 4.47 in the 40-yard dash, but Pro Football Talk indicates that teams might be unhappy with Clowney's decision to opt out of less captivating on-field drills.
[Warren] Sapp and NFL Network’s Mike Mayock both suggested that some NFL teams may lose a little respect for Clowney for deciding to sit out while other defensive linemen are working.
Sapp, however, didn't look all the disappointed with Clowney during his 40-yard dash.

Clowney is still expected to do the vertical and broad jump.
