Report: Bears closing in on new deal with LB D.J. Williams
With all the talk of players switching teams leading up to Tuesday's start of free agency, the Chicago Bears are planning on keeping one of their own in the fold.
The Chicago Tribune is reporting that the Bears are nearing a new contract with linebacker D.J. Williams.
Williams made 39 tackles and 3 ½ sacks in four starts for Chicago last season, before a torn pectoral muscle in Week 6 cut his campaign short.
