Age jokes aside, the move has the appearance of a wise one for Weeden. Despite his maturity (sorry, but it's impossible to discuss Weeden without constantly mentioning his age), he was thrust into a starting job with the Cleveland Browns before he was ready. A fresh start and the chance to reset his development behind an entrenched starter is exactly what Weeden needs.
