The New Orleans Saints have until April 8 to match the Atlanta Falcons' offer sheet on safety Rafael Bush, and it is becoming less likely that they will choose to do so.

The Falcons' offer is reportedly for two-years at $4.5 million, according to The Advocate. Given the fact that the Saints only tendered him at one-year for $1.4 million, it would seem they aren't prepared to match, even if it means losing Bush to a division rival.

New Orleans has also added safety Marcus Ball this week, as well as Champ Bailey, who could see himself converting to the safety position from corner in Rob Ryan's defense. The additions to the secondary would make it even easier to part with Bush.

Moving to the Falcons could work out better for Bush in the long run anyway, both financially and on the field. Atlanta released Thomas DeCoud this offseason and Bush could end up taking his place in a starting role, as opposed to the No. 3 safety spot he was in with the Saints.
