Steelers select TE Rob Branchflower 230th overall (7th round) in 2014 NFL Draft

With their final pick in the draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected tight end Rob Branchflower out of Massachusetts. 

Branchflower battled a sports hernia in his final season of college ball. He was medically excluded from workouts at the combine. 

Branchflower is a great run blocker, and that's likely what he'll be asked to do on offense for the Steelers. He should also contribute on special teams.
