Report: Cowboys sign running back Ryan Williams

The Dallas Cowboys added depth to their backfield on Saturday by signing free agent running back Ryan Williams, according to reports. He worked out with the team earlier in the day and did enough to earn himself a contract with the team.
Williams was drafted 38th overall in 2011 by the Arizona Cardinals but injuries sidelined him for all but five games in his three years with the organization. He has not recorded a carry since Oct 4, 2012.
In an admittedly small sample size, the Cardinals went 4-1 in the games Williams played.
