Report: Redskins, Patriots may hold joint practices
Geoff Burke-US PRESSWIRE / Reuters
The Washington Redskins and New England Patriots are discussing the possibility of holding joint practices ahead of their Aug. 7 preseason game at FedEx Field, Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com reports.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is a big proponent of joint practices, in part because he believes they create a more competitive atmosphere.
According to Reiss, if the two sides agree, the Patriots would practice at the Redskins' facility during the first week of August, and then return home for a pair of joint practices with the Philadelphia Eagles.
