People actually bid on the old Metrodome urinals in an auction

Pieces of the Metrodome will live on forever in homes, or backyard patios, or wherever a fitting location is for a stainless steel urinal trough.

Not to be upstaged by the usual auctions for stadium seats, six of the now-defunct Metrodome's facilities for men were auctioned off at kbid.com, fetching end prices of between $260 to $375.

The urinal troughs, once housed at the old home of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, range in length from eight to 12 feet and have two drains.

“Work great for livestock feeders or beverage coolers,” read the auction listing, according to the Star Tribune.

Oh, for sure keeping beers in an old urinal sounds like a great idea.

Really can't wait for the follow-up tweet when these guys get the urinal to its final destination.
