NFL to stop using Roman numerals for Super Bowl 50

Super Bowl XLIX next February could be the final NFL championship game with Roman numerals in its title, ESPN's Darren Rovell reports.

The move makes sense, as the Roman numeral for 50 is L and Super Bowl L is an awkward title to say the least.
The change won't be a permanent one, however, as Rovell reports that Roman numerals will return for Super Bowl LI (51).
