Benjamin was hit hard by Washington Redskins defensive back Bacarri Rambo in the third quarter and did not return. The 24-year-old, who missed eight games with a torn ACL a season ago, passed a concussion test.
Cleveland plays its next preseason game Saturday against the St. Louis Rams.
