Rams' Trumaine Johnson carted off field with knee injury
Ron Schwane-USA TODAY Sports
St. Louis Rams cornerback Trumaine Johnson left Saturday's preseason game against the Browns with a left knee injury, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Jim Thomas reports.
Analysis:
Johnson, who was locked in as a starter, left the field on a cart with a towel over his head. The early signs point to a serious injury, which would be a major problem for a Rams team that lacks depth at cornerback. Projected slot man Lamarcus Joyner could perhaps slide into a starting role.
