Peterson refutes report of wanting to play for Cowboys: 'I would love to retire as a Viking'
Amid reports Adrian Peterson spoke to Jerry Jones about wanting to play for the Dallas Cowboys, the Minnesota Vikings running back has issued a statement through the team's website.
This was a casual conversation between NFL colleagues in which I never indicated I wanted to leave the Vikings. I have always said I understand the NFL is a business but that I would love to retire as a Viking.
Peterson is signed with the Vikings through the 2017 season and it doesn't look like he'll be going anywhere soon.
