Report: Buccaneers' English, Meredith, Barth among first group of cuts
Larry English's stay with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was brief.
Four more Bucs cuts confirmed: DE Larry English, OT Edawn Coughman, OL Jeremiah Warren and OL Andrew Miller. Now 12 total.

The pass rusher was signed two weeks ago to give Tampa added depth on its defensive line, but he apparently didn't make a big enough impression in camp. English is a former first-round pick by San Diego in 2009, but managed just 11 sacks in five injury-filled seasons with the Chargers.
Also included in the list of players now looking for work is offensive guard/tackle Jamon Meredith. He started the Buccaneers' first preseason game at guard, and briefly appeared to have a real shot at earning a starting job on the team's offensive line.
Placekicker Connor Barth also got the axe.
