Marshawn Lynch: Starts Season With Pair Of TDs
Lynch had 20 carries for 110 yards and two touchdowns, adding one reception for 14 yards, in Thursday's season opener against the Packers.
Analysis:
Lynch looked like his usual powerful self, breaking tackles while running as hard as any player in the league. His brief holdout and limited preseason can safely be buried as non-issues, and Lynch has a good chance to improve on last year's 4.2 yards per carry, after the Seahawks dealt with an unusual number of injuries on the offensive line in 2013. Lynch handled 20 of Seattle's 37 rushing attempts Thursday, with Russell Wilson (seven for 29 yards), Robert Turbin (6-27) and Percy Harvin (4-41) accounting for the rest. The 20 carries are a touch on the high side compared to last year. He had seven games of at least 20 carries last season but only three with more than 21.
