Cowboys owner Jerry Jones facing lawsuit for alleged sexual assault
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was accused of sexual assault in a lawsuit filed by a former exotic dancer Monday.
The Dallas Morning News has the details of the lawsuit (which are graphic):
Jana Weckerly, 27, from Ardmore, Okla., said Jones fondled her genitals, forced her to touch or rub his penis, and required she watch as the 71-year-old Jones received oral sex from another woman. Weckerly is seeking more than $1 million in punitive damages.
In August, a suggestive photo of Weckerly and Jones was released, and the Cowboys owner declined comment on the matter.
Jerry Jones' lawyer Levi McCathern has vehemently denied the details of the lawsuit.
“The legal complaint is unsupported by facts or evidence of any kind. This is nothing more than an attempt to embarrass and extort Jerry Jones," McCathern told Pro Football Talk.
"This is a shakedown by a lawyer who is a solo practitioner just trying to make a name for himself," McCathern added. "The alleged incidents would have been more than five years old."
