Report: Ryan Mathews to miss 4-5 weeks with MCL sprain
The San Diego Chargers could be without running back Ryan Mathews for up to five weeks as he recovers from an MCL sprain, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport Reports.
Bad news for #Chargers RB Ryan Mathews. Post-MRI, source tells me his MCL sprain could keep him out 4-5 weeks. He hopes for sooner.

Mathews suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
"I have the utmost respect for him," teammate Donald Brown said after the game, via Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune. "I'm praying that it's nothing major. He's just one of the toughest individuals that I've ever been around. I'm praying that it's something minor and he's out there with us next week."
Mathews rushed for a career-high 1,255 yards in 16 games last season.
