Report: Texans' Foster considered 'long shot' to play Sunday vs. Giants
Cary Edmondson / USA TODAY Sports
The winless New York Giants may have caught a break ahead of their Week 3 matchup against the Houston Texans.
Sources tell NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that Texans running back Arian Foster is "viewed as a long shot" to play Sunday after being limited at practice with a hamstring injury.
The Giants enter the week in desperate need of a win after dropping their first two contests by a combined score of 60-28.
Houston, meanwhile, sits a perfect 2-0 on the strength of Foster's AFC-leading 241 yards. His 55 carries pace all running backs in the NFL through the first two weeks.
