Panthers' DeAngelo Williams' ankle in a cast

Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams appears to be wearing a hard cast on his right ankle after being seen in a walking boot on Monday.

It was previously reported that the oft-injured running back didn't suffer any structural damage, and that he is week-to-week with the injury.

Fozzy Whitaker and recently-signed Chris Ogbonnaya will be relied upon to carry the load in the absence of Williams and fellow running back Jonathan Stewart, who is also out with injury.
