Giants' Peyton Hillis aims for Pro Bowl
New York Giants running back Peyton Hillis has set a lofty goal for himself: to reach the Pro Bowl as a special-teamer.
Hillis once ran for over 1,000 yards with the Cleveland Browns in 2010 and was on the Madden NFL 12 cover.
However, the 28-year-old had a spectacular fall from grace and now aims to make the Pro Bowl for the first time as a key special teams player for the Giants.
"It's a goal, it's a hefty goal," Hillis said to Newsday's Tom Rock.
"It's more than likely not going to happen, but that's why you set goals for yourself. To try to achieve the impossible."
Hillis' welcome in Cleveland quickly ran out. Star left tackle Joe Thomas said the running back was no longer wanted by the Browns' players, going as far as to call him "toxic".
The Giants play the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5, where Hillis hopes to make a strong impact.
