New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady played, and starred, in Sunday's win over the Buffalo Bills, but the ankle injury that had him listed as questionable for the game is significant, according to Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran.
Brady rolled the ankle on an offensive lineman's foot in Friday's practice and needed intensive therapy just to be able to play against the Bills.
After conflicting reports surrounding the injury, it's becoming clearer that the ailment that limited Brady in Friday's practice is somewhat serious.
Brady will be dealing with a short layoff, with the Patriots playing a Thursday night game in Week 7 against the New York Jets.
