The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fired their director of player development, Isaiah Harris, after he was arrested on suspicion of DUI early Thursday morning.
The Bucs GM Jason Licht released a statement following the incident.
"This type of incident, particularly for someone whose primary responsibilities are to mentor and develop our players off the field, cannot be tolerated," he said.
Part of the job description of a director of player development is to assist players with off-field issues and help them with career transition.
