Ravens release Chykie Brown
Cornerback Chykie Brown was released by the Ravens on Tuesday, the Baltimore Sun reports.
Brown has endured a rough campaign to date, which was punctuated by him allowing a 54-yard touchdown pass over the weekend. Additionally, Brown was found guilty on the Bengals' game-winning touchdown pass to beat the Ravens in Week 1. Overall, Brown failed to make the cut in his reserve cornerback role, which could lead to Tramain Jacobs being promoted from the Ravens' practice squad.
