Ravens' Jimmy Smith undergoes season-ending foot surgery

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his foot Thursday.

Smith reportedly met with doctors for a second opinion on his injury and it was determined that shutting him down for the year is the best course of action. 

Smith's loss is a huge blow for the Ravens' defense. He was perhaps the lone bright spot in a secondary that has struggled badly at times this year.
