Tampa Bay Buccaneers fullback Jorvorskie Lane will be sidelined for the remainder of the season after breaking a bone in his lower right leg, his manager, Mike Brand, told Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times.
Lane, who is in his first season with the Bucs, suffered the injury in Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears and had to be carted off the field. He was replaced by backup tight end Luke Stocker.
Brand said Lane is scheduled to undergo surgery Tuesday.
