Buccaneers release return specialist Marcus Thigpen

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released return specialist Marcus Thigpen after he muffed two punts in the past two weeks.
Thigpen was promoted from the Bucs practice squad in Week 9. In a subsequent move Tampa has promoted tight end Cameron Brate from their practice squad and signed tight end D.J. Williams.
